How to respond to insults on our ProphetHow to respond to insults on our Prophet (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa salam)?

How to respond to insults on our Prophet (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa salam), In this tendency to Islamophobia, the insults to be expected of Our Prophet Muhammad (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) multiply in the streets or in the media.

But how should we react when we witness this kind of detestable behavior?

Can one indulge in hatred or physical and verbal violence?

This kind of resentment towards our Messenger (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) did not start today, as our Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) was under fierce about his critics.

Allah Soubhannu Wa ta’ala Says:

“And when they see thee, they take thee only in mockery: Is this the one whom Allah sent as a Messenger? He might have led us astray from our divinities, if it were not for our patient attachment to them! ” However, they will know when they will see the punishment, which is the most misguided in its path. “(Qur’an, 25 / 41-42).

Our Prophet (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa salam) is an example to follow and he has shown us in his life that anger is foreign to every Muslim.

Muhammad (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa salam) said:

“The strong man is not the one who fights well. The strong man is the one who knows how to dominate his rage. “(Hadith Sahih Muslim Book 032, No. 6313).

“If one of you gets angry, he must sit down.” If anger leaves him, it is good; Otherwise he must lie down. “(Hadith Sunan Abu Dawud Book 41, No. 4764).

Thus each believer must call upon his self-control and rely on Allah (soubhanu wa ta’ala) concerning the judgment of the vulgar with regard to Our Messenger (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam).

“By wisdom and good exhortation call (the people) to the path of your Lord. And chat with them in the best way. For it is your Lord who best knows the one who goes astray from His path and it is He who knows best those who are well guided. “(Qur’an, 16/125).

Sheikh Salih Ibn Fawzan Al-Fawzan also revealed to us that in the face of hurtful words Our Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) “waited and did not rush, and Allah commanded him to wait.”

“And endures what they say; And depart from them in a proper manner. “(Qur’an, 73/10).
